It takes pros to recruit and make people interested. You can have all the hostbots you want, but if they don't have guides then where will they end up? It makes for a very uncertain future for new prospects to come in.

Sheep tag isn't something you just come to understand through the first game. How did the first sheep tagger bring upon all STERS? He was a mentor to those he brought interest in the game.

How did the 2nd generation of STERS come to be? They were mentored.

You didn't have active clan meetings to bring about new STers. You just cared about your own enjoyment. I'm not saying you're not allowed to enjoy your own free time, but you're not allowed to argue against me because you don't have the experience of you and your clan trying to raise the amount of players in an effective way.

Shoop, don't get off topic. If you have a personal problem go make a thread about it.

What? I played those two thousand games. Tens of thousands were hosted.

There was no "first sheep tagger." It is like saying there was a "first human."

Most of my friends, which weren't part of the first generation, weren't mentored: we competed against each other. We weren't even given hints on how to play better.

Do you agree that WC3 activity has been decimated 22 times or not?

Also, we're incredibly off topic, but the posts stopped and I don't foresee the topic every returning so. :/

Yes there was a first sheep tagger, call it the proto-sheep tagger. The one who brought it into the masses.

I agree ST activity is very low compared to its history but you're just not eligible to say you've done your very best. Just give this opinion two days a week. Chiefs, go make your clan message two dates every week and specify what time and which time zone they will follow. Get some public games going in your clans, but fill up with 10 clan players before you host it public. Full games grab attention of prospect gamers.

I'm not saying ST activity is low, I'm saying WC3 activity is low. I argue that because WC3 activity is low, because it's activity is declining, and because those few who are joining WC3 are unlikely to play with us/get somewhat OK at the game, ST has near-zero chance of surviving on WC3.

There was no "proto-sheep tagger." Sheep Tag is a game adapted from another game, which chains it's history up to other game clients, notably StarCraft. Many maps were molded together to form the current brand of ST.
