Guides

Post some guides in here if you have any etc. especially if we get the guide section thing on the website Alph4bet suggested, it'd be good to gather some guides.

Mapgrid guide:
In sheeptag, there's a lot of ways to make teamplay possible and more efficient. One of the most basic of these is mapgrid, and in inhouse games, knowledge of this is essential.
Mapgrid is a technique that allows all the farms from different colour sheep to connect seamlessly, meaning that the total mass of the farms is all in a proper, same grid.

Ofcourse, depending on which sheep colours and how many people are in a team, mapgrid is always adjustable. So these are some general starting positions. Imagine there's a 12 sheep team. ^^

For the colours Gray and Light blue.

For the colours Yellow, Teal and Dark green.

For the colours Purple, Red, Blue and Brown.
Blue and Brown have similair starting positions in a small corner, build where there is space (ie, no orange / red in team? take their spot)

For the colours Orange and Green. Green can build the double row of farms very quickly. If you have both green and orange in the same team, build that double row together, green doing only the top 3 or 4 sets.

For the colour Pink.

Using this grid, everyone will work together to make the best possible start for the sheep team possible.

Cheers!

i appreciate the work.

ofc with 12 people on team it moves some sheep's builds to get others room.
personally i like to block all gates with one farm. and dislike the green wall of doom on the right side of the pen.
and i like to leave one space between all natural things in the map. so if you have to offset your grid to do this then do it.
after class i will post some more grids if that is ok

Well done! Still I do not agree with yellow since yellow next to light blue. :D

Haha, ofcourse you won't agree 100% but this is a general view. And there's no way there'd ever be a 12 man sheep team, so I put all farms in a rather limited way.
Yellow'd go down a lot more normally, and green may choose to do double wall, or single wall, or just mass from top to bottom, it's all relative.
We need more guides guys! Thanks for taking the time to try 'n create something Master!

LOL!
BEER HOLY CRAP, NICE TROLL.
The point of guides is to introduce new kids to these forums.....
Then give them a reference of where to learn how to play st.
For example How DotA got started was a simple forum "dota-allstars.com" Which had discussions on guides etc... A lot more features were introduced later, it's entirety was supported by the community, that website was then referenced to noobs who started playing, so they could learn all the item builds, ward spots etc...

By the way I'll be using the game "DotA" as a reference a lot due to the fact it was a war3 custom map.

Beer, there have been people just like you all throughout history, the doubters, insulters.

You have no good reason to refute peoples ideas.  You have no standing in the ST community at all.  Stop posting on the forums if all you're gonna do is act foolishly.

God damn seems like u have your dick so far up shya's **** right now not even funny. Bunch of circle jerkers here.

God damn stop bleeding all over everyone's face you walking volcano of period blood. Holy ****, haven't seen this much blatant trolling since SwedishChef.Lc's Puppet "I_think_I_Own" tried to convince everyone he was a "Real Boy". You more useless than a wheelchair with pedals, why you even circulate these forums kid? I saw what you did with the map, looks like some teenage girls desperate cry for attention. Re-adding stack farms as well as posting your name as one of the wolves, what a joke, you were and most likely still are horrid at the game, at-least mention kids who are decent at wolf.

Edit: SwedishChef, when you get the chance remove any comments that don't relate strictly to critiquing in a way as to improve the guide or are just completely off topic Eg this response to BeerFail and beerfails comments throughout this whole thread.
