Sidey is right. if you just sit in a game and just pray the abuse/griefing doesn't ruin YOUR game, then you're doing it wrong. All the sane people need to band together and exile the evil/deranged/immature people. Well, either they get exiled or join the sane people, i shall explain:

If they host a game and ban people for no reason, then leave the game. This kind of thing or other abuse, like flooding clan channels, the sane people need to boycott these shitters.
Get a good host from someone active who isn't a Hitler (beer) and have a ZERO tolerance policy for griefing.

Even if it is "taking sides" or w/e... it is the foundation of what NEEDS to be done to end the abuse. You need to take the power away from the ALL the abusers. You need your bot to be a priority over theirs, it needs to be a safe haven. Tollison i strongly suggest you join VsT and stop supporting abusers. It doesn't matter what your "intentions" are or however you want to "rationalize" it, what matters is you are supporting abuse.

If CsB has their heart SO set on ruining games and abuse/griefing, then **** them. They will just be kicked in the new super power of a hostbot/clan's games, and they can rot like some ST Tough Edition clan no one in the STC knows about, while all the sane people enjoy abuse free games. But really I shouldn't single CsB out... I don't know if all it's members grief or abuse or w/e... it isn't about clans or alliances... you can't take pre-emptive action against them based on their history of abuse. it needs to be a punishment system. as long as the player does no wrong, then they are allowed to play.

Flame wars and rivalries are fine, those are some things that make the STC what it is. But there's a fine line between flaming someone and going -afk in a perfectly balanced game and flooding chat with flames while everyone plays, just because a certain player is existing in the game.

Really the only issue that might be a problem is activity. I'm willing to rejoin the community as a semi-active player or possibly fully active player (at least until this summer) just to help this cause, and create an active abuse-free STC.

Are any of the other "neutral" sters blindly supporting abuse actually willing to take action against that abuse or am i just talking to the wind?

East parties are a REALLY good idea - provided that they are abuse-free.

We need to collectively make an effort to reduce the influence of people like Polar, Baiten, Jean-mii, and anyone else kicking/muting/banning because they get can't handle the heat when someone calls them on their **** or they are met with the same treatment they dish out. This also includes behaviour such as Polar's e.g., refusing to play and ruining games because his brain overloads with emotions when Hawkys and others bully him about the same way he does onto others.

These people may be your friends, your allies, even your best friends - but it's in all our interests to reduce their influence when it means we will increase activity, achieve better games, and maybe even get a real party or two.

It's a shame we have retarded braindead idiots like Tollison feeding the abuse non-stop. We must COLLECTIVELY stop accepting this behavior. When someone gets kicked from a game/banned from a bot unjustly STAND UP for that person. Don't stand by like a retard-rogue doing nothing begging the abusers for play-time. You're ruining not just for yourself but for the ENTIRE community.

Sounds like Tollison wants a final solution eh?
