Title: Sidey's BULLDOG Tournament: SIGN UP

Date: 4th August (THIS Sunday)

Rounds: 30

Time: 18:00 UK TIME = 19:00 Swe/ger/nor/dk time

Format: 12 players (or as many as we can get); There will always be more sheep than wolves eg 7 sheep vs 5 wolves (12), 6 sheep vs 5 wolves (11), 6 sheep vs 4 wolves (10), etc

Maps: We will try to play the big ones where you have to use the minimap to win.

Sign up: Write your name in this thread for a spot; SHOW UP if you sign up; your spot will be given away if you don't show up on time

Bot: Euro-based

Prize: Sidey's WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT BD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE BELT

:( I will probably be Internetless this weekend b.c of move.  I could sign up and see if I got Internets, but can't promise : (

I love idea of weekly tournies and bd especially ofc.  But there are two major problems I see with this.

1. 12 Players, BD score becomes really random after you get more than 5 people.  With 12 ppl, well I've played some pub games where the pubs ended up having the high score for a while, just because they had good luck in getting carried ^^
Also what's worse, current map really doesn't have any maps designed for big groups.  There might be  only a couple maps that could do 6v4, and idk about 7v5.  No real solutions to this though if you want lots of ppl to join, except maybe multiple games going and playoffs.

2. Biggest issue though is host.  Everyone gets 1 sec delay in other realms hosting, and it looks like roughly half the players going to be from each realm.  Seems like no-brainer to me if you want fairer game, why not do like 20 rounds in top euro hosting, then 20 rounds in east host?

Also wuts timer and gold settings?

The purpose of this tournament is to make a party rather than to deliver a robust assessment of ability.

12 player BD will be absolute chaos with everyone going crazy and flames flying all over the place as people **** up.

Different realm hosts is too much effort and risks players dropping out as we switch and whatnot, especially if they're in last place.

gold/time will be what we usually play with; i dont know the stats though

Again, it's going to be complete CHAOS and you will probably be flaming or get flamed for leaks etc. Please don't sign up if you are going to rage quit.

I need you to play the full 30 rounds even if you're not doing well.

If you start trolling/allowing leaks on purpose/not playing to win you will not only be kicked from the game but also be put at the very VERY back of the que for future tournaments (others will get spots before you).

It will be insane fun, but please bring some humor and competitiveness rather than rage.

Alternatively you can try your luck by showing up at the time, although you will only get to play if someone doesn't show up from the signed-up-list.
