So what are the bot options? Who has a bot or could get a bot?

We should do this.  Shaman spots can be adjusted as was stated.  Give no one Shaman.  I don't mind Lovee being dictator as he's happy and optimistic and ****.  It only concerns me that Hawky's has gotten to him already.

We need a bot where admin powers like ban/mute have been severely curtailed, such that inevitable **** talk doesn't turn into a boycott/ban war.  What bots are we able to use?

Lovee presented this poorly by first getting CSB kids involved which is a huge turnoff to everyone else.  But that doesn't mean it has to be like that.  No need for everyone who dislikes CSB to inherently be against this idea.  Just demote all of them, a clan of peons.  If their goal is just to play ST they won't mind.

I haven't looked at the map yet, but I would suggest decreasing the area and increasing gold generation.  The idea is for games to be shorter as well and people encouraged to buy str pots / golems / beams.  They won't do that unless gold is about double from revo, and claws are a bit more expensive.  I also envisioned a timer around 5-8 minute range.  But I know at least 80% of europeans hate timers in any form.
Other changes: (assuming current map)
Savings farms should increase income faster (shorter games, harder to hide svgs), tinies should probably be 1g.  Wolf anti stack stomp should just be removed (maybe increase stack price by 2 or something).

Yay for taking the initiative!

How can you remember Rylo from '06 when you started in like '09...... anyways cow neither made Lss nor "various" st maps.  You've had more of an influence on east cele, if only by spreading the homosexual agenda throughout StH's nobility  :P

Definitely should mention peeps like pure/ydoc/frappa/alex for setting the stage and then letting it collapse ^^

If you want me to come back should take CMK's suggestion :D

But if you want to move forward and develop the map in a different direction I still strongly suggest:
- Shrinking the map considerably
- Wolves 4 hit kill farms
- Adjusting item price to fit a shorter game
- Bring back cheap iron golems

No idea why you removed iron golems, the only item that long term made you micro more than one unit as wolf, increasing skill while alleviating boredom (especially with camping).  Honestly, this is the one idea I'm surprised anyone is against.

But really what makes this game boring?  #1 is map filling up with farms and wolves giving up.  #2 is wolves not having anything interesting to do.  You can two birds one stone this with smaller map and weaker wolves.
Why weaker wolves?  Not because I want to nerf wolves (the smaller map makes this not a nerf) but because killing farms in 1-2 hits eliminates the finesse and/or importance of golems/golem jumps/mirrors/mirror jumps/str pot/str beam/wolf teamwork/sheep teamwork/upgrade farms/strong farms/frost farms/stack farms/tiny farms.
Claws/cloaks may have been a necessary item so that the shepherds start winning over time.  But they are a boring item.  Instead of buying more interesting items you're saving up all your gold (and allies gold) to buy an item that makes interesting items/farms not as important.  Ignoring this was probably my biggest mistake in map design, back when y'all listened to me  ;)

That's exactly the problem amir with revo.  "Best at revo" depends on what you find impressive.  Ideally I would assume something like best player to have in a 5v5 competitive game, but we've had so few of those it seems like a weird standard.

Bulldog you don't have this problem, there's a closer tie between what people perceive as skillful and direct success in the game.

Which tier people are in becomes extremely evident within an hour.  There are three tier 1 people (you know who they are, or at least they do ^^) And there's a handful of people in the second tier, who understand the game but aren't quite as skilled.  Then there's a giant drop off for tier 3 with people who don't understand the basic concept of the game.

@sidey, I think 3v2 is better than 4v2.  Ultimately it depends on which map,  how much gold and the timer, but I think 3v2 yields better results over more settings. What's interesting though is that there's a steep drop off in 2v2 from 3v2.  Once the sheep don't outnumber the wolves positioning / tactical understanding don't matter nearly as much, and verse good wolves it can come down to mostly lucky breaks.

Grim was definitely not a smurf.  Personality was different and he was too good to be a common smurf.

Ranking includes an arbitrary balance of skill/influence on the game/culture dominance in realm

East:
0. me!
1. Philo
2. Ed
3. Magoo
4. Cele
5. Rylo
6. Pure
7. Cow
8. Frappa
9. Open(alex)
10. Raptos

West:
1. Gosu
2. Chakra
3. Star
4. Rival
5. Sheepgod
6. Arxon
7. Kenny
8. Mav
9. Anti-Drug
10. Zoo

Euro:
1. Sidey
2. Shoop
3. Chaise
4. Amir
5. CMK
6. Jenuwar
7. Exalius
8. Borja
9. Traxx
10. Deadfly

List is hard, except for the top person in each realm.  They all listen to Opeth.  The evidence is clear.
