Who buys golems more than a second before you have to use them?
There aren't many interesting item choices anymore. The games are shorter, and you start at 2 hits, so claws are relatively less important. Scythe is the best option, if there were 5v5 10-20 minute games, but there aren't.
Golems are now only a short term purchase because iron golems were removed (?). Still they're by far the best purchase in most short games. Even if most people can dodge golems, st has always been about going after the weak link.
Pooling teammate for endurance is always a solid opening though.
Ppl don't utilize speed pots enough is my one advice. Besides the obvious chasing after someone running, they make it much easier to hold a side, or two small sides, and generally deter sheep from trying anything. As cheap as they are, they're often a good purchase, especially if the game is likely to end before you could save up for something bigger.

It makes no sense to trash roc dota when it is the foundation for what game you hold so dear. The core of dota gameplay hasn't changed that much. Many of the roc heros / items were imported. My "FM" is now your "CM". The main change to the game itself is more heroes / items. Sheep tag's game play has changed radically many times over the year, from 9v3 8 hit farm kills, to 8v4 solo diamonding, to 5v5 gridding, massing together, to being a bunch of rt noobs, to running to the corners and pumping sheep images, to nonsensical 5v7 2 hit farm kill games. ST's core gameplay has probably changed more from year to year than dota's has in its entire existence. I am merely responding to the really flawed argument/point that no one ever switched from dota to ST. If my switch doesn't count, then neither does yours. I mean have you even SEEN these short 5v7 2 hit farm games, with new and improved bombers! Furthermore let's not act like this point has any legitimacy. You switched to dota because ST was dying, dota's at an all time high. Of course it's going to be unlikely for a pro to leave an extremely popular game to join a dead one. The only time such a counter example could be offered is in the past, before dota pros were actually making money and ST had more than 100 players. What do you know, such counter examples actually do exist! -- but you quickly cover yourself by saying that old dota was an entirely different game and therefore doesn't count. Some foolproof circle you got going on here

Shaman of clan Cute, one of the top clans at that time.
For six months or so almost exclusively played dota over sheep tag
Participated in several clan wars, was especially good with FM and Aqua.
Reasons stopped playing:
Didn't like allstars
Didn't want to move to TFT
Roc dota started to die / clan / friends moved on
ST got more competitive and fun
Retained interest in ST, more room to improve.

It's important to realize that dota is "competitive" "a lot to master" "high skill cap", because it has millions of players. It's become an interesting and challenging game, because it became so popular (and not the other way around here).
That's not a point to not play dota, just don't pretend the game is inherently more complex than others, like sheep tag. We can't imagine what levels sheep tag would be at if the player base was in the thousands, nonetheless if a million south koreans were playing it.
Ofc there's not a chance in hell sheep tag would have or will ever be popular, so by all means go with the flow. I'm just pretty pessimistic on what makes games popular to most people to begin with.

Judging from Tolli's last post it is still perfectly ok for cele and I to treat glow like an idiot. Which is great news, because I didn't plan on stopping that any time soon!  I mean anyone who makes posts like "I'm probably the best" "I've been the best east player for a while" "Anyone who can kill me on ROTS or CLAN GRR st i'd be surprised" I'm going to assume is a troll / aka, because the alternative is much more insulting and unbelievable  By all means impress us by blink dodging our ensnares! But let's focus on Tollison. I might be wasting my time here, since he quit sheep tag again the 19th time, but let's hope he sticks around just a bit longer. I love all the effort you put into your arguments, which don't really make any point but just try to categorize someone as something. I especially love the dictionary.com usage to "support" your argument. I have a not-so-secret theory that it's mostly a helpful tool just to make sure you didn't actually forget the word in question, after all I have in the past accused you of having memory issues. This could also mesh with the more recent MPS theory. Perhaps you learned what a sadist was with personality X, and now personality Y seems to know what it is, but can't be sure. One thing is for sure though, you are definitely a masochist. According to the Dictionary Urbana, a masochist is somebody who enjoys pain. Following on the assumption you made in your post (that people act the way the way they do because they enjoy it) you must enjoy the emotional torment you so often bring upon yourself. Even in this thread you have asked me and cele to continue calling glow (aka you) an idiot. You might be thinking "so then I'm a masochist, not a sadist", but looking closely at urban dictionary entry #3 for masochist we see something interesting: "a person who enjoys receiving pain. It is quite possible for a person to be masochistic without being submissive, and to be masochistic without being masochistic. It is also possible to be a masochist AND a sadist." That last line is the key. While you deny (I assume) that you're a sadist, I'm not sure we can take your word. As per my original theory, you do suffer from memory loss, and it's even possible that one of your personalities is a sadist, while the other has no idea. I admit my argument isn't perfectly sound. It might be a big leap to use an "urban" dictionary to try to define someone who no doubt grew up in some bum **** Amish town, but I rest my case for now.

Still doesn't answer all the questions cele. Sure this is probably tollison, but like what is tollison's motive? Or does tollison even realize he's doing it? We have to consider that among his various other issues he may have multiple personality syndrome, or perhaps suffer from extensive memory loss. I gots a theory he believes he will raise hope for the community if he thinks someone new discovered the game!
But as I said when considering tollison related queries, it's not safe to rule out mental health causes.

You ever wonder why there is a huge taboo about ****, i.e. movies portraying ****, making **** jokes = giant stigmatized. Obviously **** is horrible, but I think it's safe to say there are things worse (torture, murder, etc) and you rarely see people feigning outrage when you joke about killing someone. I thought about this when a bunch of people "got upset" recently that GoT featured a **** scene.

Also if individual members of the st community are spamming (and maybe not admitting it) could run into issues if they get invited to the clan.
I think a solution that more people would be inclined to do is set up a clan (say clan ST) but keep it as unlike a clan as possible. No power positions, no loyalties, nationalism etc, and just put a bot as chieftain, which only serves to /clan priv. Don't ask people to leave their current clans (most won't do this), but instead just join on an aka, to chat and find games, etc.
Obviously the big flaw is most people won't want to switch to akas full-time, but I doubt you'll ever get current clan leaders / shams to disband / leave clan. Logging on an aka while the clan is spammed and useless anyway, might be an easier transition, and some clanless people or people that don't care can join on their main accounts. Personally idgaf if I had to long on "drewisfat2" or some **** instead of drewisfat.
I'd be more than willing to try this idea, as I don't see sheep tag surviving if everyone is holed up in their own channel. Then only a couple of people are there, don't see anyone else, log off, and days will go by without anyone playing a game.

Is it any wonder why you never accomplish anything for long Shoop? You have no concept of perspective or timing, and so you end up attacking everyone randomly. It makes it hard to be your friend even when ppl agree with you.
As Chakra already pointed out, StH never had a monopoly on hostbots, in fact rarely had a majority on east. I never made it a mission to ban people from playing games, nor could I have. The only player I ever tried to ban long-term was itio, and that obviously didn't really work.
We certainly never spambotted clans for not banning someone from a channel. This is a whole new level of insanely stupid hitler ****.
